The technical projects shown below are projects that were completed based on the brief provided. These projects were completed in second and third year of studying through Vega. The projects showcased below show my technical ability.
STAIRCASE DESIGN
Hospitality Design
In second year, we were tasked to design a staircase for a hotel room lobby. Based on my understanding of staircase construction and material application, I was tasked to design a new staircase that will fit into the given space. Any type of stair, style, and materials could be used. A full set of detail drawings (plan, elevation, section, and details) to explain how the staircase was constructed was completed. KITCHEN DESIGN
Residential Design
We were tasked to design a new kitchen and technically document the design in order for a builder and shopfitter to assemble the design. We had to ensure that we understood the principles of successful kitchen design, especially the use of the kitchen work triangle. This was a second year project. HOTEL DESIGN
Hospitality Design
We were appointed to design and technically document mock-ups for a new luxury suite for a new business hotel, with specific emphasis on the bathroom details. The technical document is required to build mock-up or sample rooms for the new hotel room. This project was completed in third year. Click the button below to view the document.
CLINIC DESIGN
Hospitality Design
Our client for the Interior Design Collab (INTD7322 project 1) has decided to go ahead with our design and wishes it to be built as soon as possible. Therefore, we were required to produce a set of drawings to enable a contractor to tender and construct the design according to their expectations. This project was completed in third year.
